Ball-Chatham School District Honored by the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce
The District is honored to learn that it has won the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce's Non-Profit Excellence award! The annual recognition is awarded to a non-profit organization that is an active member of the Chamber. The award recognizes member organizations whose dedication, hard work, thoughtfulness, and pioneering strategies have shaped thriving organizations.
"To have been selected for this honor, we are all truly grateful,” says Supt. Dr. Douglas Wood. “The Chatham Chamber of Commerce continues to be an avid supporter of Ball-Chatham Schools. This is a recognition of the many employees and families that contribute so much toward our students. The relationship between the school district and neighboring businesses is instrumental to our success as an educational institution. We are so appreciative of the Chamber's support. We are all Titan Proud!"
About Ball-Chatham, the Chamber wrote:
The Ball-Chatham School District has historically been an active Chamber member, and, in addition to providing its core services to community members, has dedicated itself to establishing an active and integral relationship with the business community, the Chamber, and Chamber member organizations. The relationship between the district, including the individual schools and employees of the district, and the business community has a dramatic, positive impact on the community itself, creating an environment that is mutually supportive, allowing for continued growth. Additionally, the events of the last six months forced the district as a whole and individual employees of the district to make significant adjustments to the way they interact with the community as a whole. The ability of an institution to shift while still providing essential services is a testament to every employee's commitment and dedication.
