The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition for the Mid-Central Illinois Region features exceptional art from students across 33 counties. The following GHS and GMS students had pieces recognized:

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is "the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens." Students who received Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention Awards will be honored in a ceremony at Springfield High School Auditorium on Sunday, February 5, at 1:00pm.

You can see these incredible works along with art from other winners on display at the Springfield Art Association starting on February 5.
