Homecoming Parade September 28!
The 28th Annual Glenwood High School Homecoming Parade will take place at the high school on Wednesday, September 28 at 5:45 p.m.

Sign-up to be a participant in the Homecoming Parade! Fill out this entry form by Wednesday, September 21. All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 21.
Your involvement is greatly appreciated! This year’s homecoming theme is “Haunted Homecoming." There will be an award of $200 for best float and $100 for second best float. We encourage each float to relate to the theme! Your entry number, along with more information, will be sent to you prior to the parade.
Parade route: The parade will leave the high school parking lot (west side lot) and turn right onto Plummer. The parade will travel west bound on Plummer to Acacia. The parade will make a left hand turn and travel south bound to Sequoia. The parade will travel eastbound on Sequoia and follow the turn onto White Birch. The parade will travel northbound on White Birch to Plummer and then make a left hand turn onto Plummer. The parade will travel west bound on Plummer to the east entrance of the high school (nearest to the football field). The Parade will turn into the parking lot and travel north and continue around the high school back to the faculty parking lot (west side of the high school).
Road closure: Plummer Blvd will be closed at Gordon Drive/Iron Bridge Road and at North Park Street at 5:30 p.m. No one will be allowed to pass into the parade route after 5:30 p.m. The roads along the parade route will be closed prior to and during the parade. Oakbrook Avenue will still be open and can be utilized between Park Street and Gordon Drive.
