For nearly two centuries, students have been educated within the boundaries of the Ball-Chatham School District, first in one-room schoolhouses, to now over 963,000 square feet that comprise our six schools. We are one of the largest employers in Sangamon County, as well. We provide public education to 4,653 students, with more than 600 teachers and staff at work in our schools.
